FIBA to Host Hospitality Tech Panel in Tampa Focused on Loyalty and Growth

June 10 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

On June 10, the Florida-Israel Business Accelerator (FIBA), in partnership with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA), will host the second installment of its “Tech Empowerment for Hospitality Leaders” series at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. The upcoming breakfast event will bring together top hospitality executives and tech innovators to explore how technology is transforming the guest experience, driving loyalty, and fueling long-term growth.

Building on the momentum of April’s AI-focused kickoff, the second session will spotlight tools and strategies that streamline operations while deepening customer connections. Attendees can expect expert insights on everything from personalization and loyalty to operational efficiency.

The event will feature a short presentation from Hadar Samia, Loyalty & Customer Journey Expert at Duve, followed by a panel moderated by Business Observer Managing Editor Mark Gordon. Panelists include leaders from Metro Diner, Frenchy’s, Bascom’s Chop House, Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, and TradeWinds Island Resort.

“We’re creating a space where hospitality leaders can have real conversations about what technology actually works and what doesn’t,” said Pam Miniati, Co-Executive Director of FIBA. “This isn’t just about buzzwords. It’s about giving operators the tools they need to adapt and thrive.”

“The goal is to connect the people building technology with the people who are using it on the ground every day,” added Rakefet Bachur-Phillips, Co-Executive Director of FIBA. “We want to bridge that gap and make innovation practical, human-centered, and results-driven for this industry.”

“Florida’s hospitality industry thrives when innovation and leadership intersect. This series is about equipping our members with the tools and knowledge they need to not just keep up, but lead. AI is transforming guest expectations and business operations, this is our moment to lean in and shape what’s next,” said Dannette Lynch, FRLA’s Director of Membership.

As Tampa Bay continues to grow as a hub for both tourism and innovation, events like this reinforce the importance of cross-industry collaboration. With hospitality operators under pressure to evolve quickly, FIBA and FRLA are creating the space, and the conversations, that can lead to real, lasting impact. This second meeting promises to deliver not only strategies, but real connections that can move the entire industry forward.
