The Tampa Business Expo recently marked its fifth year anniversary on October 6th at the Hilton Downtown Tampa, and it was a resounding success. With over 2,000 attendees throughout the day, the event has been hailed as the most prosperous small business expo the region has seen in years. Organized by the Tampa Business Club, this year’s expo showcased an impactful itinerary that catered to vendors and provided invaluable networking opportunities.
CEO Roberto Borrero expressed his gratitude towards the vendors, stating that the first part of the day was dedicated to them. “It’s all about our VIPs and our support system,” said Borrero. The day kicked off with a morning breakfast and open networking session, followed by an enlightening morning panel on the state of social entrepreneurship and social capital. The panel featured six esteemed speakers, setting the stage for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion.
The VIP luncheon, a highlight of the expo, saw 11 accomplished speakers take the stage. Renowned figures such as Hillsborough County Tax Collector Nancy Millan, Congresswoman Kathy Castor, and keynote speaker Dr. Delatoro captivated the audience with their inspiring speeches. Dr. Delatoro’s words left a lasting impact, igniting a wave of enthusiasm that lasted well beyond the weekend. Attendees couldn’t stop raving about the incredible experience.
The expo opened its doors to the public at 3 p.m., attracting around 2,000 professionals throughout the day. Prominent media outlets such as El Nuevo Zol 97.1FM, Fox 13, and Bay News 9 covered the event, conducting interviews and highlighting the success of the entrepreneurs who gathered to connect and grow. Vladimir Kislinger from Bay News 9 lauded the Tampa Business Club for creating a unique platform, emphasizing that the energy in the room was unlike anything witnessed in Tampa for a long time.
With a remarkable lineup of 90 vendors, 30 speakers, and thousands of attendees, the Tampa Business Expo rightfully earned its title as a monumental success.
