Tampa Bay Latin Chamber Hosts Successful Hispanic Heritage Award Luncheon

The Tampa Bay Latin Chamber extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Tampa Bay community for the overwhelming support at its first-ever Hispanic Heritage Award Luncheon. Held recently, this momentous event brought together members, community partners, and the esteemed board of the Tampa Bay Latin Chamber to honor and celebrate Hispanic heritage.

The Chamber would like to express its sincere appreciation to the event’s sponsors and long-standing supporters. A special thank you goes out to @call_ita, @boricuasdecorazoninc, @thelovestoryflorist, @tampa_electric, @eleganteveningevents, and @parrilla_photography for their generous sponsorship.

The Chamber would also like to recognize the bronze sponsors of the luncheon, @florida.blue, and @asquareddev, for their valuable contributions to the success of the event.

One of the highlights of the luncheon was a snippet of the Immigrant Stageworks Theatre, featuring a compelling depiction of Jose Marti walking through modern-day Ybor City. The audience thoroughly enjoyed this powerful performance. The Chamber extends its gratitude to Mayor Jane Castor, City of Tampa, for delivering an inspiring keynote speech highlighting why Tampa is the ideal place to call home. Brigadier General Hector E. Pagan was also acknowledged for his wisdom and dedicated service to our country.

Furthermore, the Chamber proudly presented awards to outstanding individuals and businesses for their exceptional contributions to the Tampa Bay region. Nancy Millan was honored with the Excellence in Leadership award, while FOX 13’s Linda Hurtado received the Media Athena award. Agentes de Accidentes, represented by Juan Carlos Pinto & Richard, received the Chamber Business of the Year award. ESmart Recycling, represented by Tony Selvaggio, was recognized for its business community engagement efforts, receiving the corresponding award. Lastly, Michael Flores was named the Financial Advocate of the Year.

The Chamber also extended special recognition to Carlos Bohorquez for his vision and dedication in launching Todo Tampa Bay.

Moving forward, the Tampa Bay Latin Chamber remains committed to collaborating with and supporting all award recipients in their endeavors to benefit the Tampa Bay region.

The successful Hispanic Heritage Award Luncheon serves as a testament to the Chamber’s commitment to fostering unity, promoting Hispanic heritage, and cultivating a thriving business community in the Tampa Bay area.
