Sweeten a Soldier’s Day: Clearwater’s ‘Support The Troops’ Candy Donation Drive

In the spirit of post-Halloween goodwill, Clearwater’s recreation centers are offering a special initiative to repurpose excess Halloween candy for a heartwarming cause. From November 1 to 7, residents have the opportunity to spread joy to United States troops stationed overseas by donating leftover Halloween candy.

The initiative, dubbed “Support The Troops,” encourages locals to contribute their surplus candy at Clearwater’s recreation centers. For each pound of donated candy, contributors not only contribute to a worthy cause but also receive a sweet treat as a token of appreciation. Moreover, donors stand a chance to win incredible prizes as a heartfelt thank you for their generosity.

This charitable act aims to boost the morale of troops stationed abroad while providing a creative solution for excess Halloween treats. The initiative’s goal is to uplift and support those serving the country while offering a meaningful way for the community to repurpose surplus candy.
