Students in Tampa Bay are diving into a life-saving initiative, trading their regular PE classes for water safety lessons at the Ross Norton Recreation Center. Through the Fred Fisher Water Safety Program, in partnership with Pinellas County Schools, the Juvenile Welfare Board, and Clearwater For Youth, Clearwater Parks & Recreation will educate around 300 kindergarten to second-grade students on the essentials of water safety.
