Last Friday night, Tampa Bay shined a spotlight on the unsung heroes in our community: the Classroom Grandparents. With the support of AmeriCorps funding, over 20 remarkable individuals like Grandma Helen have stepped into local elementary schools through Seniors in Service Tampa Bay, Inc. These grandmas don’t just offer academic assistance; they bring love, encouragement, and unwavering support to students in need.
