As the holiday season approaches, the City of Clearwater is preparing for a brief pause in its regular operations to allow employees and residents to celebrate the festivities with their loved ones. City offices, libraries, and select recreation facilities will be closed on December 25 and January 1, creating a momentary hiatus in municipal services.
For residents accustomed to Monday collections, both solid waste and recycling will be collected on Tuesday, December 26, and January 2. Meanwhile, those with Tuesday collection schedules will experience a one-day delay, with pickups occurring on Wednesday, December 27, and January 3. This includes commercial customers who will also see a shift in their collection days.
