Clearwater, FL – A big congratulations is in order for Sean Maxfield, the City of Clearwater’s Employee of the Month! Sean, who serves as a Recreation Facilities Support Custodian, has been recognized for his outstanding actions that go above and beyond the call of duty.
While diligently cleaning up around the McMullen Tennis Complex, Sean’s keen eye and dedication to his role came to the forefront. He noticed a jacket left on the back patio of the tennis complex and, with a sense of responsibility, decided to investigate further. Upon inspecting the jacket, Sean discovered something unexpected—a significant amount of money tucked away in one of the pockets.
Rather than keeping the find for himself, Sean immediately took action. He notified his supervisor and secured the money in the complex safe, showcasing a remarkable display of honesty and professionalism. With assistance from the dedicated staff, they were able to identify the owner of the jacket.
