As Clearwater residents prepare to bid farewell to 2023 and welcome the promises of a brand-new year, the City of Clearwater has announced a series of closures and changes to its regular services on January 1, 2024. The closure will extend to city offices, libraries, and select recreation facilities, including Clearwater Solid Waste and Recycling.
Residents should note the altered waste collection schedule due to the New Year’s holiday. Monday’s collections move to Tuesday, January 2, and Tuesday collections shift to Wednesday, January 3, 2024, accommodating both residential and commercial customers.
