Seminole Heights is gearing up for its very own holiday tradition, as paddlers take center stage in the enchanting 23rd Annual Hillsborough River Holiday Boat Parade. On Sunday, December 17, the picturesque Hillsborough River will come alive with festive cheer, transforming into a twinkling waterway adorned with the glow of holiday lights.
This beloved event, Tampa’s original and free for everyone, welcomes participants of all kinds—kayaks, canoes, and powerboats alike—to join in the merriment. The festivities kick off at 6:00 pm at the Lowry Park Boat Ramp, located at 1204 W Flora St., where a fleet of boats will embark on a magical journey upriver.
