In a heartfelt Veterans Pinning Ceremony at The Landmark, an Inspirit Senior Living Community, city staff joined in paying tribute to the remarkable service of William “Billy” Monfort, a 106-year-old WWII Veteran. The ceremony, held on November 9th, brought together veterans and community members to express gratitude for their dedication to our country.

Father Bob Swick from The Veteran’s Alliance was present to offer his support and appreciation. The event not only celebrated Mr. Monfort’s incredible milestone of 106 years but also acknowledged the collective service of all veterans in attendance.

As we honor these heroes on Veterans Day, it was revealed that Mr. Monfort will be celebrating his 107th birthday on December 17th. The community extends warm wishes and heartfelt thanks to William Monfort for his service and wishes him a joyous and Happy Birthday!
