This June, Tampa Bay will be abuzz with a series of vibrant events honoring Juneteenth, presented by the Clearwater Urban Leadership Coalition, Pinellas County, the African American History Museum, and in partnership with the city of Clearwater. The festivities kick off on June 13th with “Painting with a Purpose” at the North Greenwood Recreation Center, offering a creative and engaging painting session for just $10 per person. On June 14th, the Juneteenth Lunch ‘n’ Learn at the North Greenwood Library promises an enlightening exploration into the history of Juneteenth and the resilient spirit of its people. The excitement continues on June 15th with Juneteenth Family Day at the African American History Museum on Marshall St. Wrapping up the festivities on June 16th is the Gospel Experience at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church’s Matheos Hall.
