In the spirit of giving and environmental stewardship, Tampa’s Green Team embarked on a festive mission as they celebrated the 8th day of Christmas. Under the hashtag #TampaParksandRec and #CityofTampa, the dedicated team, with the support of Americorps, took on the task of cleaning up Al Barnes.
The holiday initiative revealed a staggering accomplishment: a total of 7,773 cigarettes were collected by Tampa’s Green Team during this day of community clean-up. This impressive number not only underscores the commitment of the team but also highlights the importance of addressing litter in public spaces.
